Viv Ewing is a native of Omaha, NE from a blue collar working class family. She attended public schools Howard Kennedy and Franklin Elementary.  She enrolled in Sacred Heart for her middle school years. For high school she attended Central High School where she participated in DECA, ROTC, pep club, and the newspaper club. She has strong family values and has been married for 27 years to John W. Ewing, Jr., who is the Douglas County Treasurer. They have two children.

Dec21

Omaha—On Tuesday, December 20, Congressman Lee Terry voted to block a Senate-backed compromise on the middle class tax cut.  A direct result of Terry’s vote will be a tax increase for 1.1 million Nebraskans.

“Once again, Lee Terry put his political party before the people of Nebraska,” said John Ewing, candidate for Congress in Nebraska’s 2nd District.  “1.1 million Nebraskans will see their taxes increase by $1,000 because Terry continually forgets who he represents!”
